    INFO

SPONSER® MCT OIL is a liquid, tasteless oil made from coconut fat. It is ideally suited in connection with low carb, paleo and ketogenic diets. It is also popular for interval fasting and as an alternative source of energy for endurance sports.

    What is SPONSER® MCT OIL?

SPONSER® MCT OIL consists of medium-chain, easily digestible fatty acids (medium-chain triglycerides, MCT) derived from coconut. Medium-chain fatty acids occur naturally in high amounts in coconut fat. MCT OIL tastes neutral, is purely vegetable and consists of a mixture of two fatty acids, 60% caprylic acid (C8) and 40% capric acid (C10).

What is SPONSER® MCT OIL meant for?

The metabolism of medium-chain fatty acids differs significantly from that of long-chain fatty acids. MTC are converted to ketone bodies in the liver and used as a quick, alternative energy source. Ketone bodies are relatively small molecules and can cross the blood-brain barrier. Therefore, they can be used in the brain as an alternative energy source. In addition to their rapid utilisation in the brain, MCTs have the advantage that, as fats, they have no or only minimal effects on the blood sugar level and thus the secretion of insulin. The easily digestible medium-chain fatty acids are not stored in the form of depot fat, but are used directly by the body as an energy source.

    Advantages of SPONSER® MCT OIL

In order to be able to optimally use the mentioned advantages of MCT oil, attention should be paid to high quality. Our MCT oil consists exclusively of coconut fat, which optimally coordinates and enhances the advantages and properties of caprylic acid (C8) and capric acid (C10). MCT OIL is tasteless and odourless, vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free and palm oil-free and contains no preservatives or artificial colours.

    APPLICATION

During sport: Consumption before or after training as a source of energy, for example in combination with a protein shake.

Coffee: As an addition to coffee, ideally in the morning on an empty stomach. In combination with caffeine, consumers have reported an increased ability to concentrate after taking MCT oil.

Supplement: As an addition or garnish in smoothies, salad dressing, yoghurt, etc.

    PREPARATION

1-2 tablespoons daily. Depending on individual tolerance, start with half the dosage and increase slowly. MCT oils are usually heat-sensitive and therefore not suitable for frying.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Store out of reach of small children.
